The FT2 has got only some minor changes compared to it’s predecessors FT & FTN – for example an affixed hot-shoe contact on the top of the pentaprism cover, a non-toxic silver cell battery for the meter and a new standard K screen with a matte-fresnel field and central split-image rangefinder surrounded by a micro-prism collar.

Manufactured from March 1975 to mid 1977, sold as Nikomat in Japan.
