The ELW is a modified version of the Nikkormat EL to accept the new Auto Winder AW-1, otherwise it is identical.

Manufactured from February 1976 until the end of 1979, sold as Nikomat in Japan.

I purchased the pictured camera at a camera exchange in Switzerland in 1998, the AW-1 from a camera store in Manchester, UK, in January 2014 (yes – I searched after this thing for quite a while…).
