The successor of the Nikkormat FT has got center-weighted (60%/40%) metering, a simplified lens mounting procedure recognizing the minimum and maximum aperture of the lens, and +/– over/underexposure metering markers & the selected shutter speed visible in the viewfinder.
The FTN was crowned with success and had a long production time from October 1967 to March 1975. Sold as Nikomat in Japan.
I purchased the pictured camera at a camera exchange in Switzerland in 2002.
Shown with a matching 35mm/2.8 lens.
