Nikon’s first camera with a built-in TTL exposure meter. A big improvement compared to the older types, thus made it easier using different lenses, bellows, or filters. The “T” measures the average brightness over the focusing screen.
Manufactured from September 1965 to May 1967.
I purchased the pictured camera from a private owner (which sold his Grand Father’s camera) in Zürich, Switzerland, in March 2014.
According to the serial number, this camera was built between June and September 1965.
